Fun Paddle Invasion – Tampa Riverfest Edition 2026!

Join us for a FUN paddle as we invade the Hillsborough River during Tampa Riverfest 2026! This special edition paddle takes you right through the heart of the celebration as we explore the vibrant waterways and the energetic downtown festival scene.

This event is a collaboration with Friends of the Riverwalk, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Tampa Riverwalk, helping support its ongoing programming and community enrichment.

Launching from Urban Kai at Armature Works, we’ll paddle along the iconic Tampa Riverwalk, soaking in views of Tampa’s most spotlighted areas like Curtis Hixon Park, home to many Riverfest activities. It’s the perfect mix of fun, fitness, and festival vibes on the water!


Skill Details: Basic paddling experience

Time: Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Cost: $25 per person includes board or kayak plus lifevest

BYOB (Bring Your Own Padding Craft): $10

The Hillsborough River paddling trail provides an up-close look at these amazing waterways and the urban downtown scene, starting from Armature Works and paddling out towards Tampa Bay.

You will see Tampa's spotlighted areas such as Curtis Hixon park while paddling alongside Downtown Tampa's Riverwalk, during this festive day!

ALL PADDLERS MUST CHECK IN AT URBAN KAI (shop next to Stone's Throw)

* Must register online in advance
* Minimum age is 7 years old and must be able to swim.
